Gavin Flynn is a recording and performing artist from Novi, Michigan, based in the Detroit metro area. He writes, records, and performs his own music, drawing from personal experiences as well as stories from the people and places around him. As both a songwriter and live performer, Gavin has built a reputation for performing throughout Michigan and steadily growing a dedicated local following.
Gavin’s live sets are direct, energetic, and honest. In the studio, he focuses on capturing that same live energy, often relying on real, physical instrumentation to keep the sound authentic and grounded. Whether performing solo or with a full band, his approach stays the same: create something real and let it connect with listeners in its own way.

He has recently completed a 10-track alternative indie country album and is preparing for its release. The project tells stories inspired by people he has met through music—ranging from conversations with a man reflecting on his time in war, to a woman discussing sobriety in a church, to stories of love and connection shared in intimate live settings. Each song is rooted in real human experience.
Gavin is currently focused on releasing new music and expanding his live performances throughout Michigan and beyond. He continues to believe that live music has the power to bring people together, offering a shared space where, even for a few hours, people can step away from everything outside and simply be present.
